山中漆器のろくろの技術を活かしてつくられた、手のひらサイズのお茶ミルです。木地職人の伝統の技による手づくりの逸品で、天然木のやさしい風合いが生きています。特徴は、一般的な擦り鉢と違って内側はざらつきがないため擦りやすく、また洗いやすいこと。その滑らかな内側に擦り棒が心地よく摩擦し合うことで、香り立つ茶葉の栄養分を逃すことなく、しかも力いらずで粉茶状に挽くことができます。挽く際に棒を手のひらで押しながら回すので、ツボ押しの効果も。健康的に挽けて、お茶の栄養分をまるごと摂取できる、健康生活を後押ししてくれるうれしい道具です。お茶だけでなく、胡麻や煮干しの擦り鉢としても使えます。

This palm-sized tea mill is made using Yamanaka lacquerware roroku techniques. Handmade with traditional techniques of wood craftsmen, the gentle texture of natural wood is alive and well. Unlike ordinary scrubbing bowls, the inside is not rough, making it easy to scrub and wash. The smooth inner surface of the scrubbing stick rubs against each other comfortably, allowing the tea leaves to be ground into a tea powder without losing the nutrients of the aromatic tea leaves and without any effort.
The grinding stick is turned while pressing it with the palm of the hand, which also has the effect of pressing pressure points.
