山中塗　4.0飯椀　駒形　千筋　　朱摺

11月10日はめし椀の日 です。これは日本漆器協同組合連合会が本年制定しました。めし椀は一般的にはお茶椀と呼ばれ、今は陶器のものを使っている方が多いかもしれません。
でも実は”木製のお椀”こそ、ご飯を入れることに向いているんです。
あつあつのご飯を入れても熱が伝わりにくく、陶器よりも軽いため、お子さんや年配の方も持ちやすい。
長く使い続けることで変化する風合いを楽しむこともできます。
やわらかく手に馴染む 漆塗りのお椀です。

この飯椀は木製の素地に拭き漆で仕上げたものです。裏面には山中漆器の加飾挽きの千筋を施してあります。

November 10 is Meshi Bowl Day. It was established this year by the Japan Lacquer Ware Cooperative Union.
Rice bowls are generally called "tea bowls," and many people may be using ceramic bowls nowadays.
But in fact, wooden bowls are the best suited for serving rice.
They do not conduct heat as easily when filled with hot rice, and are lighter than ceramic bowls, making them easier for children and the elderly to hold.
The bowls also have a texture that will change over time as they are used.
This lacquered bowl is soft and comfortable in the hand.

This rice bowl is finished with wipe lacquer on a wooden base. The back of the bowl is decorated with the decorative grinding of Yamanaka lacquerware, Senzuki.
