山中塗　コットン楽 応用器 7ヶ組

コットンは、普段着としてコットン素材の服を着るように、日常使いの器にしてほしいという想いから名づけられた漆器です。お椀に細かく刻まれた「コットン筋」は、デザインの美しさだけでなく、滑止めの効果と傷が目立ちにくくなる機能を備え、さらに、余分な水分が逃げることで、ご飯を入れた際にはご飯がべたつきにくく、ふっくらとした食感を楽しめます。

禅のお坊さんが使う「応量器」を現代風にアレンジしたら？という発想で開発しました。

持ち歩く必要がないので一番大きい椀も置いた際に安定するカタチにし、蓋もお皿として使えるようなカタチにしました。

これ一つで一人分のほぼ全ての食器をまかなう事ができると思います。

Cotton is a lacquerware named after the desire that people will use it as an everyday bowl, just as they would wear clothes made of cotton material for everyday wear.
The finely engraved "cotton stripes" on the bowls not only add to the beauty of the design, but also provide an anti-skid effect and a function that makes scratches less noticeable. Furthermore, by allowing excess moisture to escape, the rice does not stick to the bowl when it is filled, allowing the rice to enjoy a fluffy texture.

We developed this product based on the idea of "What if we arranged the "oryogi" used by Zen monks in a modern way? This is the idea behind the development of this product.

Since there is no need to carry it around, the largest bowl is shaped to be stable when placed on the table, and the lid is shaped so that it can be used as a plate.

I believe that this single bowl can provide almost all the tableware for one person.
